The Atomic Love Bombs

I can't stop listening to "Let It Burn" by The Atomic Love Bombs. With its subtle echoes of so many of the bands I love -- Moody Blues (when they were awesome), Seeds (but more polished), Amboy Dukes (but more refined), Strawberry Alarm Clock (but less cheesy), Yardbirds, Jefferson Airplane, Eric Burdon & The Animals, Kinks, Stones, and yes, even the Beatles -- this album just blows my mind.

While reminiscent of the best psychedelic pop/rock of the late '60s and early 70s, The Atomic Love Bombs' music is unique and original. The songs are skillfully crafted with jangly acoustic guitar work offset by searing fuzz-laden riffs. The vocals are heartfelt; the vocal harmonies sublime. And it's all pulled together in a polished production that's just perfect for these songs.

I've listened to the whole album at least five times in the past two days and I still can't wait to listen to it some more.

In a word, this album ROCKS!
