The Atomic Love Bombs

Friday, February 12th at The Red Devil Lounge!

We wanted to post a reminder that we're playing The Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco on Friday, February 12th.  The night benefits Doctors Without Borders as part of The Red Devil Lunge's "In The Name of Love" benefit series, and we're very excited about being part of that.

We're playing with Blackstone Heist, Farewell Typewriter, and The Neighborhood Bullys, so it should be a very fun night.

We're scheduled to go on at 11 PM, and we look forward to seeing as many of our fans as possible showing up!

Tickets are $10 at the door, or $7 in advance through Ticketweb.

Some Live Gigs!

Finally, we have some live gigs to announce.  We're playing a private party on January 23rd at The Spice Monkey in Oakland, a groovy restaurant with a great space for bands upstairs. The Alegre Sisters are going to open the show, and we can hardly wait.

Even more exciting, we're playing our first gig at The Red Devil Lounge, one of the coolest venues in San Francisco.  We'll be there on February 12th with Farewell Typewriter and Blackstone Heist, and it's going to be a great evening of live music. Come out and bring your friends!

We'll be playing some of the new material we've been working on, along with tracks from our first CD, Let It Burn.

We hope to see you there!

Junior's Cave Interviews Joe

Junior's Cave has published an interview with Joe. Junior's Cave is a very cool magazine out of Georgia, and in the interview Joe talks about the origins of the band, where the name came from, and how the sound developed.

Radio Airplay for Get The Yeah Yeahs Out

We're getting some airplay for Get The Yeah Yeahs Out on The Indie Show, a radio broadcast from 100.9 WMIR FM, a radio station in Long Island!

Internet radio station Indie Life Radio also added Get The Yeahs Yeahs Out to its rotation!

Do, please, feel free to request that song at your favorite radio station. :)

Let It Burn at Streelight Records in San Jose

We are delighted to announce that Let It Burn is available at Streetlight Records in San Jose. Ask for it by name!

iProng Features The Atomic Love Bombs

iProng magazine has published an article about the band. Bill Palmer interviewed Bryan about being in the band, being one of three guitarists, how he and Tim work out the vocals, and why in the heck Anton Newcombe is named in one of the songs on the CD. Check it out at iProng!

Let It Burn Available on Amie Street!

Let It Burn is now available on Amie Street! This site sells music a little differently -- basically, the more popular something is, the more it costs.  Let It Burn, being a just-listed, first CD from an indie band, is very inexpensive, at least for now.

As we write this, each song is priced at only $.15, and the whole album is only $1.65. As more people buy it from Amie Street, it will get more expensive. It will eventually be the same $7.99 - $9.99 it's listed elsewhere.

So, if you want to buy it on the cheap, do it quickly. :)

CD Available at Roy's Station

We're delighted to announce that you can now buy Let It Burn on CD at Roy's Station, one of the best coffee houses in San Jose.

They're located at 5th and Jackson in the heart of Japantown, and even if you already have the album, you should pay them a visit!

Let It Burn Now on iTunes!

Let It Burn is now on iTunes, a month earlier than we thought! It looks like they made "Butterflies" an album-only download.

If you have a second or two, leave a review on iTunes and let other folks know what you think.

And thanks for your continued support!

Let It Burn on CD

We got our first pressing of Let It Burn on CD Friday, just in time for the CD Release Party we held with The Beehive Spirit, The Spyrals, and Fauna Valetta.

It was an amazing night of noise, drone, feedback, pop hooks, thudding drums, and killer vocals. It's rare to get four bands that go so well together on one bill, and we were excited to be a part of it.

In the meanwhile, we added Let It Burn on CD to our online store for $9.99, or you can download it for $7.99.  We'll be adding T-shirts, too, so keep an eye out for those.

YourMacLife Interviews Bryan

YourMacLife, a popular Mac-oriented pocast, had Bryan on the show on Wednesday to talk about...well...Mac stuff.  He also got to talk about the band, however, and host Shawn King let him plug the band and our new CD.

Better yet, Shawn played some tracks in the lead-in to the live streaming broadcast of the show, and then tweeted that he liked the album, saying:

"@TMOBryan's band, 'Atomic Love Bombs' is *really* good! Playing it now on the YML Pre-show! Go buy the album!"

Thanks to this combination of events, Let It Burn jumped more than 5,000 places on Amazon's best seller's list, peaking at 4,315 (that we saw). Not bad, Shawn, and thanks!

Listen to the full episode for more, and we'd like to thank Shawn's fans that reached out and bought our album!

Let It Burn Available on Amazon!

We are delighted to announce that Let It Burn is now available on Amazon!  You'll also find it on lala.

Web Site Launched, CD Being Pressed

Clearly, we've launched our Web site! Go us!  We've also finished our first CD, Let It Burn, which is being pressed as we type this. It will be on iTunes, Amazon, Aimee Street, and several other online music stores shortly, or you can download it today from our online store.

While we're at it, join us at Broadway Studios in San Francisco on July 11th for our CD Release Party! We're playing with three awesome bands -- Fauna Valetta, The Spyrals, and The Beehive Spirit -- and it's going to be a great show!

Tickets are $10, and we're donating our net proceeds to Girls Inc., a great community organization that we're happy to help support.
