The Atomic Love Bombs
About the Band

The Atomic Love Bombs are a San Francisco-based indie band with roots firmly entrenched in the West Coast psychedelic scene. Their neo-psychedelic sound is led by a shatteringly loud wall of droning distortion meshed with catchy psych-pop-garage hooks and inspiring melodies and lyrics.

Influenced by everything from The Velvet Underground and The Kinks of the 60s to The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Warlocks of today, The Atomic Love Bombs stand apart from their contemporaries because of their keen sense of songcrafting and dynamics.

Bassist Tim Rye and guitarist Bryan Chaffin handle the lead vocals, while the guitar interplay of Ben Lyman and Joe Mitch is inventive and adds a haunting blend of melody and noise to each song. The rave-up rhythm section is rounded out by drummer Brad Phillips.

The band's first album, Let it Burn, is available today on CD or download from our online store. It is also available on iTunesAmazon, Lala, and Amiestreet.

Let It Burn was produced by Drew Youngs in Earthwire Studio during three long weekends and umpteen additional out-of-studio mixing hours. "Perfect High" and "100 Mile Freefall #2" were produced by Tim Rye during the course of several months.
